Hi @Lcoach

Thank you for reaching out to us today. You can't block specific phone numbers in Secure Family; to do that, you can use Call Protect. Hope this helps!

You can't. The Secure Family app doesn't have call blocking features. Go to Device How-To, select your kid's phone, and type "block" in the search field to find out how to block incoming calls on the phone.

This makes the app and paying a monthly fee for the app pointless. Yes you can go to your child's phone and block a number from the device, but guess what? Then the child can simply unblock that number from their device later. Why have a "Secure Family App" that does everything else EXCEPT exactly what you would need it for. Like I said....pointless.

Hello @jfamilyempire, we understand the importance of keeping your family devices secure.

Currently, restricting calls and text messages as well as setting specific numbers as acceptable for reception on each device is not a feature of AT&T Secure Family though it's possible to use Secure Family's Messaging feature to filter content from a variety of third-party messaging apps.
  • If you have access to your child's phone, you can block text messages from saved or unknown contacts as follows: Open the Messages app on your child's device. Tap on three dots > Settings. Choose Block numbers and Spam” > Block Numbers.
We value your feedback, and are constantly looking for ways to improve our applications. Feel free to reach back out to us if you have any questions. Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums.
