HBOMax expired and plan changed
I had ATT Unlimited Elite which came with free HBOMax. However, it no longer works and when I log into HBOMax it says my subscription through ATT has expired. I know that ATT no longer offers their Unlimited Elite plan or any sort of free HBOMax with new wireless plans; however, I was told that I should be grandfathered in with the old Unlimited Elite plan. When I look at my bills, it appears ATT changed my plan from Unlimited Elite to Unlimited Extra in Feb/March 2022 without telling me. Unlimited Extra does not have HBOMax. Is there a way to get me back onto Elite with my free HBOMax? That was the main reason I went with that plan was for the HBOMax.

Yes, presuming you didn’t somehow make the change yourself but it will probably take corporate involvement. To escalate to corporate, file an FCC or BBB complaint. The complaint will result in someone from corporate contacting you.

This is ridiculous. I filed a BBB complaint, got told they couldn't bring back the plan they changed without asking me but asked if I wanted to spend like 5 bucks more a month to get the newer plan with HBOMax. I said yes and now my plan is back to the Unlimited Elite including HBOMax. However, here we are 5 months later and multiple phone calls, emails, and attempts later my Max still says it cannot verify the subscription even though my account shows Max is included (now that HBO Max is just Max). I am beyond frustrated at wasting a year with still no access and yet I paid more to get access. Someone from ATT needs to refund me or fix this ASAP.
