Can't get into Max

Hi,

I've always had trouble logging into HBO. And now I tried logging into Max and I'm having the same issue.

I get an error page telling me they can't verify the subscription.

I have the grandfathered iPhone unlimited plan. I can't seem to find any proper information on my att.com account. The site is very confusing to use.

What can I do to get access to Max?

Thanks.

The transfer of bundled subscribers to Max is obviously broken. You'll just have to be patient until Max and AT&T get it sorted out. Ever since WBD (Warner Bros/Discovery) took over HBO Max it's been a mess. Standalone subscribers don't have any issues, at least we didn't.

Hello @Jeanbaysinger, This is not how we want your experience with AT&T to be like. We are here to help!

Let's have you reset your password to see if this works for you.

Here are the steps to take:

  1. Go to your myAT&T Profile. Sign in, if asked.
  2. Scroll to Sign in info.
  3. Select Edit next to password
  4. Enter and save your password

Let's look into this for you, we just have a few questions for you can you please provide me with the type of wireless you have. And have you made any account changes recently.

@OttoPylot - I've been patient for years. Unfortunately, it seems like no one at ATT is taking responsibility for this. Customer service isn't able to help.

@ATTHelp - Can we get an ETA on when this will be solved? Picture of the error page here.

The problem lies between WBD, who owns Max, and AT&T. They are obviously having IT issues transferring existing AT&T bundled accounts to Max. My guess is that bundled customers will eventually have to re-subscribe to one of the new tiers for Max after the 6-month grace period. It could very well be an issue with Max and not necessarily AT&T.

All you can do is be patient. The entire Max launch has been fraught with all kinds of issues, and not just login issues for the bundled accounts.
