Caller ID City is Incorrect
There are many cities in my area code. My caller ID location on my new mobile number is a city miles from our actual location. How can I get this updated without getting a new phone number. Others in my family are also showing different cities - none of us have our actual city! Please help. There must be a way for AT&T to update.

You can't.
And that's not how it works. Your first three digits are signed based on your general location. Those first three numbers should match the location where you purchased service.
The second three numbers are assigned cell phone numbers which will not match the city or town code in which you live. Those would be landline numbers and this is not a landline.
Landline phone numbers in the city where you live are never assigned to a cell phone. The only way to get both the first three and the second three numbers assigned to look like a local number to the town or city in which you live you would have to get a landline number first and then have that number ported over to your cell phone
