Blocking “Unknown” numbers
Is it possible to use ActiveArmor or account settings to reject any incoming call which does not have an ID? I don’t want to give AT&T my contact list, just block any call which has ID disabled.

Hey, rehjaeger! The AT&T ActiveArmor application allows you to flag, send to voicemail, and block nuisance & fraud risk calls. You can also send unknown callers to voicemail.
To find these settings, you'll open up the AT&T ActiveArmor app then click on the phone icon named Calls. After, you'll scroll down until you see Network Call Preferences. From there, select the drop down arrow listed near Unknown callers and click send to voicemail. Keep in mind, you can only see these settings while connected to your cellular data.
To answer you question you can't personally block all unknown callers but you can automatically forward them to your voicemail.
We hope we've answered your question! Please let us know if you have additional inquiries!

We'd love to assist you with rejecting unwanted calls, amyhill.
There are various methods you can use to block calls/and texts. You can either use your phone's integrated block system, depending on what type of device you have. Or you can use a third party app to do this.
We have a helpful support article that explains how to use ActiveArmor. Review this page, and select which option works best for you.
Let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

By ID, do you mean the actual person's name associated with the phone number? There is no such database and it will be a privacy issue. AFAIK AT&T is outsourcing that to Hiya or uses landline specified cnames, which is wrong, at least for my phone.

I guess I didn’t make my question clear.
A call comes in. Instead of displaying a number, it says “Unknown”. I want to universally block any such calls 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙩 giving AT&T my contact list.

I have a Samsung S20. Before the Call Protect app was converted to Active Armor, I was able to block Unknown Callers and send them to Voicemail. Since the conversion, it gives me an error and won't block and send to voicemail. Is this a known problem and will it be fixed anytime soon? Thanks.
