Active armor
I have been unable to get active vomit to work and I realized why it requires Android 11 now that my phone is not supported anymore and they discontinued any updates to my software I'm only have Android 10 and can go no higher. My only security was to be active armor and I can't even use that. Can I go back to call Protect? What do I do to keep my phone secure until I can upgrade to another phone??? At this time I can't afford the to purchase another smartphone. What can I do about this?

Hi there @Samsung Galaxy Note 9, we completely understand wanting to be safe from suspicious callers, and we're here to keep you safe from them.
While Call Protect does work as a viable alternative to ActiveArmor, please know the AT&T Call Protect app will be shut down on January 30th, 2023. Even now, it is no longer possible to change the settings within the Call Protect app, instead users are redirected to the ActiveArmor app.
You can see all the methods we offer for blocking robocallers online, we also have an online form to report spam callers and block them on your device. We recommend you use this form to block suspicious callers and text messages.

I have a Samsung S8 and Active Armor installs but "hits a bump in the road". If my phone doesn't support it, why does it install?
My phone is at Android 9 and says that is "up to date". If Active Armor will not work on older phones, it is unreasonable for AT&T to remove Call Protect and give us a Luddite workaround for spam calls and texts. Given the volume of junk calls and texts, it it totally unreasonable to fill out an online form or forward each text to 7726. If I am going to be forced to buy a new phone, I may as well look for a new carrier as well.
