Active Armor block calls that it shouldn’t

What’s the criteria for a call getting blocked?

Does it block everything if it’s not in my contacts lists? My wife tried to call from a different number in her office and it blocked it.

if I have to create a contact for every number that might call me then I will be uninstalling the app.

There is a way to stop AT&T ActiveArmor from blocking calls from important businesses like your wife's place of work, dmmccollough. Let's look into that for you.

Besides adding the number to your contacts list it's recommended that you set Spam Risk calls to Flag or Send to Voicemail rather than Block.

AT&T ActiveArmor mobile security app call protection identifies fraud calls (as well as spam risk calls) through data analytics and network intelligence, as well as numbers reported by customers.

It's possible the business may use a number that’s been reported as spam enough times that it is labeled as Spam Risk even if it is a legitimate company or business. Customers are encouraged to check the Nuisance calls settings in the Network Call Preferences menu.

For details on how to get to that setting you will want to view the instructions under Set call protection preferences when you visit Use the AT&T ActiveArmor mobile security app.

We hope this information helps. Let us know if you need any other assistance with AT&T products and services.
