The Devil is in the details.

Do they throttle you (slow you down) after using so many GB of data?

Also, $100 a month.  Ouch.  I don't think its a conwensidence this is being rolled out right now that Google's Project Fi (google's cell phone service) is out there.

Of course, google project fi is only available for the Nexus 5x, 6 and 6p right now.  At $20 a month for unlimited talk and text and $10 per GB of data, I think cell phone companies are shaking in their boots a little.

EDIT: Really, no hotspot? That is not good for unlimited data users.

Oh?  Why?  Not every one wants to, or even knows how to, use a hotspot.  Not every needs more than 10 Mbps of data/month.

I'm the only one in my family who uses a hotspot, and I use it only in certain situations, probably 5 weeks out of the year.  We have a 10 Mbps family plan, and don't have a hard time staying under it.

Oh, I understand.  I know this plan isn't for everyone (and since I do sometimes need that hotspot functionality, it's personally not for me).  Anyone who is considering it needs to understand just what the limitations are.  However, I do believe this plan would be a good fit for a good many people.

The answer to this is yes.  I think it happens at 22 GB.
