Receiver will not reboot.

I have "Lost signal" message. In past this has been corrected by restarting receiver.  This time the receiver does not respond to reboot (holding down power button 10 seconds).  Link light is green, but receiver otherwise acts dead.  I have rebooted Gateway, but that has no effect.

Kindle Fire and Uverse App Update to new version

I use my Kindle Fire to watch live TV from my office up until this last week.  Apparently Uverse did an app update and now the current version is not compatible.  When I search for the updated App in the App store the only option now is the Kids Uverse version.  When I click on the link from Uverse.

I can only get 100mg for $50 from ATT. I like having U-verse TV and want to keep it but, I need more speed. Will my u-verse work if my internet is google fiber?
