Camera records video but no image seen

I was wondering if anyone could help me understand why it is that when you move and want to transfer your service you basically have to start over with a new contract and equipment? Can I at least utilize the old equipment in addition to the new? Thanks

How can I remove an unused DLC-100 box from the wall? There seems to be a security screw or bolt at the top which I'm unfamiliar with that is keeping the front panel from opening.
